2018 World Language National Awards

2018 World Language National Awards
Caroline Hoffman

Wakefield School is proud to announce the results of this year's World Language Exams. Students participated in the National Latin, French, and Spanish Exams.

The Latin exam covers grammar and vocabulary, mythology, Roman culture, derivatives, and translation abilities. The philosophy of this exam is to provide every student with the opportunity to experience a sense of personal accomplishment and to encourage every student to further his/her study in this classical language. For the Modern World Languages, the exam is both a contest and an assessment. The assessments focus on listening comprehension, reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and culture.
