    Wakefield School, located in The Plains, Virginia, seeks a dynamic and innovative Middle School teacher who loves working with young people, to serve as a member of its faculty beginning in August of 2024. This full-time position, which includes benefits, would include Middle School classes in both Literature and Composition and advising students in that division.

      • Technological proficiency in the classroom, including Google Educational apps, interactive whiteboards, and electronic grade books;
      • Growth mindset and willingness to pursue ongoing professional development;
      • Experience with coaching and/or club sponsorship;

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Responsible for furniture setup and break-down for all events including
    • fundraising and student events, etc
    • Attend operation meetings on behalf of the facilities team
    • Provide routine maintenance and plant support to the school
    • Support facilities in day-to-day campus appearance and operations
    • Assists with general repairs and servicing of transportation fleet
