Cyndi began her teaching career just up the street at Coleman Elementary, teaching 5th grade, then married and moved to New Jersey where she lived and taught for nearly 30 years. When her youngest son graduated from high school, she decided to return to the home where she was born, The Plains. In 2001, Mrs. Williams joined the Wakefield faculty teaching 4th grade. When the teachers transitioned to the four-and-five team, she continued teaching math until moving to the middle school to support learners. Wakefield has given her a home and a support system of a fantastic faculty desiring to help students excel. She finds coming here to teach a pleasure and many days a joy. Teaching and helping children to understand the complexities of how things work in math is a daily goal for her.
