Amy joined the Wakefield faculty as a third-grade teacher in 2020. Her creative teaching methods, including hands-on activities and interactive lessons, make learning fun and engaging for her students. Before joining Wakefield, Amy spent several years teaching middle school, fourth grade, and fifth grade. Amy works to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where her students feel comfortable learning and growing. As a military spouse, Amy has moved with her Air Force husband and four children all over the US. Beyond the classroom, Amy can be found reading a book or cheering at soccer games.
