Education Following his graduate work at Boston College, where he also worked as an intern in the Office of Undergraduate Admission, Mr. McDonough worked at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island for three years as an Assistant Director of Admission. He subsequently worked for six years as the Director of College Counseling at Hebron Academy in Maine, where he had graduated from high school. Mr. McDonough returned to Roger Williams University as Director of Graduate School Admission until joining Wakefield School in 2006. Though he enjoyed working at the college level, he feels working at the secondary school level as a college counselor is a more suitable and rewarding position for him. Outside of school, he likes to run, skate, lift weights, watch his Boston sports teams, and spend as much time as he can with his son. |
