Terry Lowry has been in education and information technology for more years than she is willing to admit at this point in her career. She spent the early years of her career as a high school Social Studies teacher before venturing into the world of IT consulting. There, she spent several years working on various projects for the USDA and DOD before returning to her first love - the world of education. A Wakefield parent and former trustee, in 2015, she became Wakefield's Director of Technology. In her free time, she enjoys visiting her Wakefield graduate, David, who is studying Computer Science at Christopher Newport University, voraciously reading the kind of "literature" that no Wakefield English teacher would be caught dead with, and traveling the world with her wonderful husband.
