Erin Leonard has been a lifelong learner and has a deep love and commitment to early and upper elementary education. As a Kindergarten through fifth grade teacher for twenty-three years before becoming a school leader for ten years, she believes every child can achieve high levels of learning through engaging, meaningful experiences. Erin strongly believes in building a sense of community at Wakefield School. Her leadership philosophy is one of collaborating and supporting parents, colleagues, and students to be inspired, passionate, and curious about the world around them. Erin enjoys spending time with family and friends at the Jersey Shore, walking for exercise, and reading historical fiction and mystery books, typically set in England and throughout Europe.
