Working in the non-profit sector was always a goal of Ashley's. From the perspective of a college student who understood the corporate, for-profit world to be a dog-eat-dog place, her desire to work for the greater good where profit wasn't the bottom line seemed the best way forward. She has enjoyed working with a wide range of non-profit organizations throughout her career and has found Wakefield School to be her favorite job thus far. With 20 years of dance teaching experience, Wakefield allows her to utilize all of her passions in one place: mentoring students, teaching dance, marketing, design, and writing. Ashley loves spending time with her family and friends, playing her son in Madden, painting, cooking, yoga, and hiking in her spare time.
