Global Education

We understand that it's important for students to learn about their world through exploration and travel. Because of this, Wakefield offers a number of unique international educational opportunities.

Our students have had opportunities to travel throughout:
  • Australia
  • Belize
  • China
  • France
  • Guatemala
  • Italy
  • Morocco
  • Namibia
  • Peru- Amazon Rain Forest
  • Spain
  • Scotland

A trip unlike any other...

One of our most popular trips is to Namibia, Africa. Faculty members, parents, and students work with the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) in Namibia, Africa in a one-of-a-kind wildlife conservation management effort. Students have the opportunity to visit the CCF in Namibia to work hand-in-hand with scientists on conservation efforts. This opportunity, along with our conservation ecology class, offers our students the potential for senior thesis topics in areas of cheetah management, predator/prey management, Namibian culture, and others they have yet to uncover.
