Angela began her career at Wakefield in 2021 after spending time at home with her young children. Before Wakefield, she taught elementary school in Nanuet, New York, middle school in Warrenton, VA, and elementary school in Loudoun County, VA. She is deeply passionate about teaching upper elementary-level Math, where students discover the beauty of mathematical concepts and how they relate to their everyday lives. Empowering students to take ownership of their learning and apply it to their unique experiences is at the core of her teaching philosophy. Beyond the classroom, she relishes every moment spent with her loving husband and their two energetic sons. They enjoy bonding over shared interests, including baseball, soccer, and golf. Additionally, her family embraces the great outdoors, frequently finding solace by the water and engaging in activities like swimming, fishing, and wakeboarding.
