A career teacher for the last eighteen years, John came to Wakefield in the Fall of 2018 and has taught English classes in both the Middle and Upper Schools here at Wakefield. He has coached middle school boys basketball, founded and run the community service-oriented Interact Club, and served as Dean of Students for the Upper School. In 2022, John published his first book titled Believe, Live, Think: Two Feet In. He has had poems published in various literary magazines, including District Lines, the poetry anthology from D.C. bookstore Politics & Prose. In his spare time, he likes reading and writing, playing tennis and basketball, and spending time with his three nephews.
