During his career, Bob has taught in Connecticut, Vermont, and Virginia. Throughout this period, he has taught History, English, and International Relations, as well as numerous other courses in the humanities area. He majored in History and Political Science for his undergraduate and graduate degrees while also earning a Certificate of Advanced Study in Reading Education. He has been fortunate enough to have been awarded numerous grants and fellowships, the most notable being a National Endowment for the Humanities Teacher Scholar Fellowship, a Fulbright Teacher Exchange to Hungary, and the John Marshall Foundation Virginia Teacher of the Year award. At Wakefield, he teaches Dual Enrollment International Relations/Comparative Politics and Dual Enrollment United States Government.
