Middle School Music

All Middle School students take musical instruction each year. Students can choose between handbells, percussion, brass, and strings, piano keyboard, as well as chorus. These instruments are taught by adjunct professors who are accomplished and talented musicians in their own right.

Music serves as a creative outlet for these students, and helps them to learn there are many different forms of communication and expression.

Students perform several times a year for the Wakefield community, and also travel to competitions to perform as groups and individuals.
