Assistant to the Head of Middle and Upper Schools
Wakefield School is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Head of Middle and Upper Schools. The ideal candidate should be an experienced administrative assistant capable of handling the demands of a very busy office, including working with students, parents, faculty, other administrators. This position works very closely with the Head of Middle and Upper Schools to provide administrative support, daily bulletins, attendance, division events, scheduling, and other functions as needed. Substitute Teacher Openings:
Join the Wakefield Substitute list to be called on as needed in the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools when a teacher is absent. Substitute teachers follow lesson plans and comply with any instructions from the Headmaster, Division Head or Department Chair. Substitute teachers are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and exhibit the Wakefield courtesies in all interactions and communications at all times. Appropriate professional appearance is essential for a strong working and learning environment that is conducive to high student and staff performance. Professional attire includes, but is not limited to, collared shirts, dress slacks, dress coordinates, suits, dresses, ties and sport coats. Substitute teachers are expected to maintain the regular teacher’s time schedule, whatever that may be, report for duty at the time designated by the school and to remain on duty until the regular teacher’s dismissal time. Qualified candidates should have some classroom experience and must have successfully passed all background checks as appropriate for school personnel.
