95% of alumni say they felt more prepared than their classmates during their freshman year of college

No one truly understands the stress, challenges, and emotions that our Seniors go through during the college application process than our College Counselor, Mr. McDonough (and their parents). Mr. M spends so much time getting to know our students during their high school years and helps them every step of the way as they apply to universities. So when a Senior commits to a college, Mr. McDonough celebrates along with them. He's made it a tradition to hang a sign on the Seniors' lockers with their exciting news for all to see. Even though our doors are closed, Mr. McDonough still wanted to continue the tradition for our incredible Class of 2020. And this time, he made it virtual for all to see. Thank you, Mr. McDonough for the time, guidance, and commitment to our students! Class of 2020, you are unforgettable! Congratulations!!! This one is for you...

The more time I spend in college, the more I'm thankful for my Wakefield education. I feel that I entered college having all the tools I needed to succeed. More than that, I feel that I am constantly building a community around me with students and professors that mimics the caring and trustworthy community I had at Wakefield.
