We believe the best way to choose a school for you child/ren is to see it first hand — and we want to meet you! Therefore, a campus visit/tour is a required step in the admission process.
After completing your initial inquiry, you will be contacted by Wakefield's Admissions Office to schedule a visit/tour. The best time to tour the school and visit classrooms is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm. However, our Admissions Office is open 8:00am until 4:00pm and can accommodate most schedules. We recommend a Shadow Day for any rising 3rd through 12th grader interested in Wakefield School. This is an opportunity for your child/ren to experience Wakefield for a portion of the regular school day. They are assigned a "shadow buddy" who will show them around, introduce them to students and teachers, and give them a feel for what learning at Wakefield is like.
Before participating in a Shadow Day, the Admissions Application needs to be completed. Teacher recommendations and testing can be completed after their Shadow Day.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis as space allows. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Admissions Office at (540) 253-7600 or email us at email@example.com.
