Featuring John and Clara Christensen
At Wakefield, our sense of community among students, parents, faculty, and staff is more than just the warm, fuzzy feeling that's evident on campus. It permeates our teaching and learning and is a source of energy that helps our school to thrive. Each person plays a significant role even though it may be, at times, undetectable. In the Community Spotlight, we would like to recognize some of our dedicated volunteers for the time and effort they invest into our programs, events, and activities around the school.
Our first Spotlight features John and Clara Christensen! Personally attending equestrian activities, athletic competitions, theater productions, all-community events and much more to sell concessions, they are amazingly helpful and continue to give hours and hours of their time. In addition to all of this, they spread Wakefield cheer wherever they go; encouraging more people to come to our school and reminding all of us on campus of why Wakefield is the special place that it is. Thank you, John and Clara, for all that you do! Wakefield would not be the same with you! If you would like to join and support/volunteer with the Boosters contact them at email@example.com.
There are many ways that people in our community volunteer at Wakefield and we want to recognize each one of them! Please send us your recommendation for the Community Spotlight, including what they are doing as a volunteer, a quote concerning their efforts and accomplishments, and a photograph of that person in action to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to highlighting as many of these remarkable members of our community as possible!
