Welcome to Noctua News,
a site that proudly provides articles for students, by students.
That is the
philosophy of the Wakefield student newspaper. Noctua News
promises to report the affairs of our beloved community honestly, accurately,
and tactfully at all times.
Founded in 2006 by Angie Anderson and faculty members Mrs. Beller and
Mr. Quinn, Noctua News turned the
print periodicals of the past into an online publication. Now, after yet another revamp in 2008,
you see the most contemporary student newspaper in Wakefield’s history.
Pursuing the glory of its predecessors The Hoot and The Archetype, Noctua News
is published regularly by a staff of students from the publications class and
activity period.
