Fun with the Class of 2012

January 14, 2010

Looking for some mid-winter fun, members of the sophomore class (Class of 2012) started the new year with an afternoon of skating at The Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas.

With sunny skies and temperatures in the 20s, the day was “picture perfect” for some old-fashioned, outdoor skating fun. There were a number of students who attended, all with varying degrees of skating ability. Circling the mini, outdoor rink was fun despite the freezing cold.

We skated until the Zamboni arrived to resurface the ice…a good time to warm up with lunch at nearby Foster’s Grille. After sharing lunch, laughs (and the photos we’d taken), we parted ways for awhile only to meet up again a short time later at Wakefield for the annual Fire Marshal Night basketball games.

The sophomores will continue to get together at events similar to this. Next up…“COSMIC BOWLING”!
