Alumni Bring their Experience to the College Panel
January 16, 2009
On January 9th, 2009, a group of alumni shared their college experiences with Wakefield's Upper School students. Two separate panels were held in an effort to make the panels more conversational and give the students ample opportunity to ask questions. From the Class of 2008, Georgina Buckley, Emily Watt, Ashley Marchi, and Hunter Bayliss spoke to the Freshmen and the Sophomores in the Lecture Hall. In the Dining Hall, Betsy Fraser '04, Elena Stock '07, Dylan Comstock '04, Adam Downs '00, and, briefly, Erica Eickhoff '08 spoke to the Juniors and Seniors describing their impressions of college and the college selection process and offering many helpful suggestions to current students.
The Alumni Panel is held every year as a collaboration between the alumni office, the Upper School office, and college counseling and is an important contribution that these alumni make to the school and their fellow Wakefield students.
