The Speaker Series is run through Student Activities.
It is designed to bring informed
discussion to Wakefield’s Upper School students with a series of forums on
topics for responsible citizens.
Each forum includes pertinent members outside of the community in a
question and answer format led by a moderator.
Some of the topics have included: 2008 Presidential Election-What is at stake?, Financial
Success, Religion in America and The Role of Government in America. In each of event in the series, there was
lively discussion from the students offering differing viewpoints.
